“I just don't know why this isn't working for me. The first bottle seemed OK - but I never had the 'glowy' look I was hoping for, but towards the end of it I started experiencing piling. I ordered a 2nd bottle thinking perhaps the one running out was getting a bit tired but the same thing is happening despite me not changing anything to my regime. I use Dr Sam's cleanser, moisturiser and Nightly serum every 2-3 nights - I have v sensitive skin. I have done EVERYTHING that is recommended - waiting in between layers, making sure my face is 'touch-dry' b4 next layer, using the exact same technique that Dr Sam shows on her vids and not rubbing. I have even tried not wearing any moisturiser in between cleanser and applying the untinted SPF - to no avail. Today as I applied the sunscreen to my neck (which had no moisturiser on) it immediately piled. Feel so disappointed and at a loss to know how I can make this work for me. I may have to try another brand or go back to the Dr Sam Daily Sunscreen which is a chemical sunscreen and nicely moisturising. Also this untinted SPF leaves a white caste on my light olive skin and clings to my eyebrows. I so wanted this to be my HG and it isn't. I can sometimes put one layer on without issue but the moment I reapply it it pills. Other times it pills immediately with the first layer of application. So sad about this.”
“I’ve used an SPF for years and is my first priority in my skin care regime, I’d looked at the reviews for Dr Sam’s FLAWLESS GOSSAMER UNTINTED SPF 50 and thought I’d give it a try as I was running low on my Usual SPF ,
And I was very impressed! As recommended I apply my moisturiser first then glide (rather than rub ) the dr Sam’s FLAWLESS GOSSAMER UNTINTED SPF 50 , it is the best I’ve used so far!
NO white Residue , make up goes on Beautifully after Applying , I want to try the tinted Version when it comes back in stock as in the summer months/ holiday ect I won’t have to feel I need to put any skin make up on top for a nice glowing natural look, all in all 5*for this beautiful Product!”
“I waited for 2 weeks for it to be delivered to me in Miami and I really wanted to love it. Too bad it gave me a bluish white cast. For reference, my skin is a fair medium. I'll keep using it on days when I stay home or do garden work. It also looks funny after sweating a bit on our dog walks. It is a good primer for another tinted sunblock that I use over it when reapply if I have to leave the house and people might see me. Wish I could exchange it for the tinted.”
“I absolutely love this SPF. This is the best mineral sunscreen I have found that doesn't leave a matte look. It is definitely rich and hydrating which is perfect for my sensitive dry skin! Now that it's spring, I can use the Flawless light lotion underneath because the spf is so hydrating. Oily skin would probably find it too heavy. Thank you Dr.Sam!”
“This is the first sunscreen I've used that didn't immediately break me out! I used to hate putting on sunscreen (and therefore rarely did) because the ones that are marketed for my oily, sensitive skin usually feel too matte but this formula is so pleasant. Now I don't think twice about putting SPF on every day and it's become a staple in my daily routine.
The only downside to the untinted one is that it makes me look like a ghost, especially when I apply the 6 pumps. The white cast is severe (even on my light skin) and I don't tend to wear make-up so it's not ideal. Now I'm just patiently waiting for the tinted one to come back in stock!”
