“Been struggling with pilling sunscreen for ages that left me feeling like a grease slick. Applied in layers as directed in the video, it sinks into my skin like a dream and appears to blur little imperfections and makes my pores appear smaller. Give it 5 minutes or so between layers if you can, as that really helps it sink in. My sensitive, rosacea-prone skin is so happy to have this physical SPF!”

“Had high hopes for this physical sunscreen and it did not disappoint. I would describe it as a rich cream but has a really elegant finish, non greasy but not super matte either - just perfect. No white cast on my Mac NC25 - NC30 skin tone and sat lovely underneath foundation with no primer. A definite re-purchase in fact it will be my go to facial sunscreen from now on. The only mineral sunscreen I have tried that is similar to this one is by Omorovicza and cost much more ml for ml. Well done Dr Sams.”
“I no longer hate applying the sunscreen but actually look forward to it. It glides, it absorbs, it feels wonderfully light and hydrating, not sticky. And this is after Brightly and azelaic and moisturiser. And then my Nars foundation glides on beautifully on top, I couldn’t believe it.
On its own it does leave a little lavender shade on my face but not on the neck strangely enough. But it’s not a problem since my make up goes on easily and quickly on top.”
“Very impressed with Flawless Gossamer. I thought it would feel heavy because it's a physical SPF but I was pleasantly surprised by. It has a light, almost moussy texture that melts into the skin, delivering a nice boost of hydration and a lovely glow - without the grease! Dr Sam, you did it again. It's a win for me!”
“I just don't know why this isn't working for me. The first bottle seemed OK - but I never had the 'glowy' look I was hoping for, but towards the end of it I started experiencing piling. I ordered a 2nd bottle thinking perhaps the one running out was getting a bit tired but the same thing is happening despite me not changing anything to my regime. I use Dr Sam's cleanser, moisturiser and Nightly serum every 2-3 nights - I have v sensitive skin. I have done EVERYTHING that is recommended - waiting in between layers, making sure my face is 'touch-dry' b4 next layer, using the exact same technique that Dr Sam shows on her vids and not rubbing. I have even tried not wearing any moisturiser in between cleanser and applying the untinted SPF - to no avail. Today as I applied the sunscreen to my neck (which had no moisturiser on) it immediately piled. Feel so disappointed and at a loss to know how I can make this work for me. I may have to try another brand or go back to the Dr Sam Daily Sunscreen which is a chemical sunscreen and nicely moisturising. Also this untinted SPF leaves a white caste on my light olive skin and clings to my eyebrows. I so wanted this to be my HG and it isn't. I can sometimes put one layer on without issue but the moment I reapply it it pills. Other times it pills immediately with the first layer of application. So sad about this.”
