“I want to love this product because I'm such a fan of Dr. Sam's other items! However, so far I've been unsuccessful at getting this to apply properly. First try, half a pump was immediately dispensed, and it was FAR too much product: my undereyes looked cakey and felt sticky. Next few tries, I used the *tiniest* amount and fared better. . .however I haven't been able to get concealer to apply over the top, as I need to. It has a sticky texture that "grabs" makeup, so concealer won't glide over the top and ends up patchy. (It requires a lot of dabbing with damp beauty blenders, tapping with fingers, etc., to achieve the finish that I can normally get in a few seconds when another eye cream is used.) The final result looks dry and cakey. Worse, as the day progresses, it forms flakes and piils off—an embarrassing look that must be washed off. I haven't entirely given up yet! I'll continue to try some other ideas, and am hoping that I won't have to return it or only use it at night.”

We don't recommend applying any of the other products around the eye area, as the Brightly Eye serum is hydrating enough on its own. “I really like this serum as it makes my skin feel so smooth. However, I am not a fan of the packaging as the pump doesn't seem to work properly which makes it difficult to get the right amount of the serum.”

For the pump, a gentle press should do the trick, and you only need half a pump or even less for each use.
