Nourishing Ceramide + Peptide Moisturiser Reviews

Another banger from Dermatica.Yes this isn't cheap, nor is any of the range but the ingredients are clean and pure. For some that doesn't matter and for some it's worth paying more for. For me I'm happy to pay more as I'm not a fan of skincare that is bulked out and has fragrance. This doesn't and it really works.

The product is great but 4 stars only due to packaging, particularly pump dispenser. It is bad, first pump you get a little product and it takes time for it to bounce back in order to dispense more product, which is very uncomfortable. All other pumps on your treatments work well, twice-thrice no problem in one go, but not on Moisturiser. If you change this particular packaging would be fab. Honestly, ordering my first i genuinely thought it is a faulty packaging, ordered second one in the hope, but same issue. Hope this helps.

This is a great moisturiser for those with dry skin, the product provides good level of hydration and helps to retain the skins moisture thanks to the ceramides and niacinamide. The bottle is packaged well and although is a simple design looks sophisticated. The pump is very temperamental to start with, I almost gave up, but managed to get it working and has been fine since. The consistency of the moisturiser is very thick and takes a few minutes to absorb fully into the skin. For oily skin like mine it works better as a night cream, it feels a bit too heavy for day wear with makeup.Other than that, great product, ideal for dry/combination skin.

This is a 50ml moisturiser by Dermatica with ceramide and peptide. Its designed to be hydrating, repairing and brightening, while being fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin. This comes nicely boxed, with a press-down pump dispenser and clear top to keep it clean. Sadly mine had a problem with the pump when I first used it. I tried pressing down numerous times and nothing happened, realising the pump felt strange like it wasnt going all the way down. It seems to be recessed too far, so I need to pull it up then press it down. Im not sure if thats what happens with all of them or just mine but its not a big issue as it has been fine for the most part since. The ceramide and peptide combination is designed to provide relief and hydration to dry skin by locking in moisture and repairing the skin barrier. It apparently also helps to brighten, plump, smooth and soften skin. On the box, it says it also has niacinamide in it, which helps to reduce the appearance of dark spots. Its simple to use as you apply like a regular moisturiser. You only need 1 to 2 pumps to apply a thin layer over your skin, but you can always use more to have a thicker and richer effect. Its supposed to go on after any serums, and before SPF.Ive found this to be a really lovely moisturiser to use. It smooths onto skin and absorbs nicely, leaving my skin feeling instantly comforted and less tight. I find one pump is okay to do most of my face but I use two just to get better coverage and do my forehead, which I often leave out (and that probably explains why Im getting deep frown line creases on my forehead!) At 50ml, it should last reasonably well with the way I use two pumps once a day, but Ill probably up this to twice a day as the brand suggests as I need to put more effort into my skincare routine. My skin looks and feels softer, and with more use Id say it looks a tad brighter and more alive. With years of chronic illness taking its toll on my skin, Ive ended up with some redness, broken veins on my cheeks and my face generally just looks really dull. Im keen to keep using this for the foreseeable future not just for the hydration but to hopefully help with skin health and to get it looking a bit brighter.Ive thankfully had no side-effects or irritation from this. I think its a pretty gentle moisturiser and it should last reasonably well with the way I use two pumps once a day, but Ill probably up this to twice a day as I need to put more effort into my skincare routine.Overall, this is a very pleasant moisturiser. It has powerful ceramide and peptide ingredients that make it a potentially very effective product and it has already started to help my skin. Very pleased with it!

This is a decent sized 50ml bottle of very thick cream. I had problems getting the pump to prime, after a few attempts I tried pulling the pump up as far as it would go and trying again and it started to dispense.Despite the cream being so thick it still absorbed well into the skin and was pretty economical to use. The cream has very little fragrance and left my skin feeling moist and firm.I've used products from this company before and they are all good quality and priced sensibly.

One of the few moisturisers thats kind on peeling sensitive skin after using chemical exfoliants. It also kept shedding skin hydrated so it didn't peel to early from putting on clothes or unintentional contact. Didnt cause any bumps or create new under eye milia. I wish Id known about it during my tret uglies.
