“I found the pump awkward, the product comes out when pressed but does not go up automatically for another compression.
I had high expectations of this, but it left my skin dry and irritated, it could be the niacinamide. I have post menopause skin, needs lots of hydration and moisture, I can not use niacinamide.
For younger skin that needs oil control this could he better.
I prefer the original moisturiser to this.”
“Took a while to get this pumping through but it did get there eventually. Lovely thick moisturiser, white in colour with no scent. Absorbed easily into my skin without leaving it feeling greasy. Did not block my pore either. I have very dry skin and this relieved it and eased its flakiness.”
“This is a great moisturiser if your skin is on the drier side. It sinks into the skin straight away, feels nice and soothing and leaves my skin feeling nice and hydrated. As it contains ceramides it should help to keep my skin nice and plump and help to prevent fine lines which is great!Definitely scent free so it would be great for people with sensitive skin.Works well under makeup!”
“Ceramide skin products can be rather expensive - so it's good to find one, like this from Dermatica, that's more reasonably priced. They're especially useful for older skin like mine which tends to become more dry over time. Young skin naturally produces plenty of ceramides, lipids or fats that keep it moisturised. As skin ages, many fewer - and more poorer quality - ceramides are produced which, along with environmental factors, result in dryness. So moisturisers with ceramides seek to put back those ceramides to give you plumper, better hydrated skin with less signs of ageing such as fine lines. Unsurprisingly, I was delighted to be able to try Dermatica's Nourishing Ceramide with Peptide Moisturiser for Dry Skin.A fragrance-free, rich white cream, this applies easily and absorbs well leaving no sticky or greasy residue. I used this over Dermatica's Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin B6 Serum and before my regular primer and SPF. I found a single pump was sufficient though you can use 2 pumps. This has to be one of the most effective moisturisers I've tried in a long while. I also love how it's packaged in a simple and very compact 50ml plastic pump dispenser that's much more convenient than a jar and easy to pack if you're going away. It arrives boxed and would be perfect for gifting. Very good value, I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about this product. And it's almost ten pounds cheaper than my regular anti-ageing moisturiser. Recommended.”
“I was impressed with this, did a test where I only put it on half my face and I could immediately feel the difference, it absorbed into my skin easily and quickly leaving it soft and smooth.”
“This water-based moisturiser is packed with ceramides and peptides, which work together to deeply nourish and hydrate dry skin. What I love most about this moisturiser is its lightweight texture. It absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving no greasy or sticky residue behind. It feels incredibly refreshing and hydrating on the skin, providing long-lasting moisture throughout the day.The addition of ceramides and peptides make this moisturizer a powerhouse when it comes to skin health. Ceramides help to strengthen the skin's natural barrier, while peptides work to stimulate collagen production and improve skin elasticity. After using this moisturiser for a few weeks, I have noticed a significant improvement in the overall health and appearance of my skin. It feels softer, smoother, and more supple, with a noticeable reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. This moisturiser is also suitable for both men and women, making it a versatile choice for any skincare routine. It is gentle enough to use daily and does not cause any irritation or redness, even on sensitive skin.”
“I recently bought the Nourishing ceramide + peptide moisturiser & like it so far. It’s hydrating, comfortable & non clogging. My big gripe is that the pump is stiff & you need to pull it up each time you use it. Definitely needs sorting out.”
