“Having suffered with acne prone skin most of my adult life this kit was the perfect way to try out the products before spending lots of money on something that might not work. The pre-cleanse is fairly lightweight but felt like it took off all the make-up & daily grime quite well. Followed by the exfoliant my skin felt super smooth! The moisturiser felt light and non- greasy and sunk into the skin well, however it did have a slightly unpleasant smell , a bit like plastic. Not sure if that's normal? The exfoliant says its gentle enough to use daily, however I would start out maybe using once or twice a week. After 3 days of use my skin became very dry and a little tight, although it was looking amazingly clear already, with pore size reduced and visibly looked less clogged.
I stopped using after 1 week to let my skin rest. I will go back to trying this regime again but start with using the exfoliant once a week. I've not used anything before that clears my pores so quickly, so the results seem to be fast, but I think anyone with sensitive skin should be careful to start with. All in all I was pleased with the products and easy routine. If my skin still struggles on having another try, I will look at the Dermalogica products for sensitive skin.”
