“It was a gift for my son who says it's better than steel or diamond. It does not suffer from the fragility of your average ceramic rod. It prospers in it's strength, it truly is "break resistant ceramic honing rod". I will carry it with me to my death bed”

“I use this on my knives, a mix of harder Japanese (61-64 rockwell) kinves and softer Globals. Brings them up to sharp very nicely. Now my go to daily hone.”
