Although I've not had the chance to use all the flours in the starter pack, I can confirm that the 'All Purpose White', 'Canadian Strong' and 'Cotswold Crunch' have all exceeded my expectations. If anything, the 'Cotswold Crunch' (on its own), was a touch too strong for my (ageing) palate, but nevertheless, extremely tasty (as you would expect). I found a 50/50 mix of 'Cotswold Crunch' and 'All Purpose White' made a perfect combination without compromising on either taste or texture..............I'm glad I was brave enough to experiment. I've yet to try the 'Cotswold Stoneground' and 'Pizza', but there's no doubt in my mind that they will be as equally satisfying. Many thanks Peter (aged 87 in April)

I'm sure the flour is great but out of the 5 bags 4 were white flour which I don't use. I bought trhe bread maker to make rye bread and rye flour was not included. I may use the brown flour to occasionally mix into the rye. A great pity and a missed opporunity for me to try the Mathews flour
