I love the smell and chewable texture of this bread. Used 100% or mix with strong white for perfect sandwich texture.

This flour makes absolutely gorgeous tasty bread. I bake a cob every other day as it's so more ish and it doesn't last long in our house So buying 5 bags is ideal.

I have been disappointed with this last batch. The loaves have large holes in them and the bread breaks up when it is cut. I have raised the issue with Matthews but they have not been able to explain why this is happening or offer advice. I still have two bags left and will try blending it with Eight Grain to see if that helps.

Good Afternoon David. Thank you for your recent feedback. At the moment we are at a loss as to what is causing the issues; we are running a series of tests and also talking to our technical baker. We absolutely love the cotswold crunch flour. It makes a light textured but firm loaf, with a distinct flavour. It can last a few days in the loaf bag, although mostly gets devoured before then. The seeds and grains are a perfect addition.
