No problems experienced until I recently had to try and claim for a replacement windscreen whilst in France. Initially website contact details not helpful but major difficulties received upon returning to the UK to try and claim reimbursement of monies paid. No one wanted to take responsibility to assist and whilst staff polite, seemed to lack any experience. Matters became protracted on such a straight forward issue but resolved only after making a formal complaint to Lloyds customer relations department and full reimbursement and apologies received. Clearly Lloyds need a proper review of their procedures and website to ensure that they are both as helpful as possible to their clients.

Cost and cover very good, but several enquiries by phone were not very clearly answerd.

I am only in a position to comment on the purchase process of my car insurance from Lloyds Bank. This was completed very efficiently without any delay. My documents were made available online almost immediately. My only complaint was that when I bought the insurance through Confused.Com, I was promised 1000 nectar points for purchasing the policy. However, the 1000 points were not added to my Nectar account and as such I had to contact Nectar. The points were added to my account within a few days of my enquiry, but I never received any contact from Lloyds in this regard.

They quoted renewal with an increase of over 30% where nothing had changed and no claims were made during the year. They failed to provide a renewal notice and planned to collect the new premium automatically without reference to me. I cancelled the policy after one year and got a better deal elsewhere. I am a Lloyds Bank customer and find this level of customer care a disgrace.
