“The price is good for the car I drive especially without a no claims bonus. However, halfway through the year I wanted to change car on my policy. After being assured this would be alright, I drove down over 100 miles to buy the new car. Once down there I phoned up again and they said it was not possible for me to be insured on the car. Two hours on the phone later, they had not resolved this and so I asked to cancel my policy. Once I said that, they somehow managed to insure me on the new car. I was also unable to get through to there complaints department, after being on hold for 20 minutes.”

“Endsleigh are, probably, very good for the average insurer. However, I have had serious communication problems with them because they only give telephone numbers, and NO e-mail address. I have a serious hearing problem, and tend to do all the business that I can by e-mail, as telephone, for me, is exteemly difficult. Also, for some unknown reason, my computer will NOT download, so I had to wait some considerable time for them to send my documents by post. I certainly prefer to deal with an insurer who you can communicate with by e-mail, and sends documents by post (like RIAS or SAGA).”
“Terrible, I would never go back.
It took 4 attempts over 45 days to recieve my Proof of No Claims discount. Outrageous, and finally resolved by the one person in the call centre that knows what they are doing in 10minutes and a single email. It cost me a great deal of cash on the phone line and for the difference I could have just gone to a more reputable insurer in the first instance. Furthermore a £75 surcharge to terminate my policy after 7 months is obscene and something not easily spotted on the comparison sites.
Never again.”
