“This is my 3rd Weber kettle in 50 years, the metal of the kettle is fractionally thinner and I've never been able to obtain again the brilliant red of my first weber, but the features and functions of this model are superb. The ash pan is brilliant, it prevents ash blowing around on breezy days. The hinged lid is a fantastic new feature and makes it easier and safer to open up the bbq without worrying about where to place the lid. The stainless steel grill is easier to clean and hope it stays like this rather than rust like the older versions over the winter. It's best to use the kettle with the thermometer in front of you so that the lid lifts straight up in front of you, it means your feet are between the front leg and the left wheel. The grill has lifting sides to pop in a few more briquettes when needed, one of these on mine seems to be difficult to return so I will need to investigate that further. The lo-slo is a new feature I haven't used yet but everything else works fine, including removing the lid to mount my existing weber rotisserie.
All in all a brilliant update to my previous 2 models and delivered within 48hrs of purchase.”
“Have to say a little disappointed in that the BBQ arrived damaged. Not caused nor the fault of BBQ World but that of Weber themselves. The build quality is not the highest and am now embarking down the replacement rabbit hole with Weber online which should be fun and obviously I'm not going to be able to fire up the BBQ by the time summer ends no doubt.”
“Not used yet so too early to judge durability. A bit fiddly to put together and some of the instructions are not clear....some text would be a big help not just a picture. Legs are not the sturdiest. However looks good now waiting for the weather.”
