“Having gone back to charcoal from gas with the brand of BBQ that I always wanted, I wasn't disappointed.
The service from BBQ world was excellent and helpful as I had some questions prior to purchasing online.
I have used the Weber BBQ to cooke and smoke now with the ability to control the temperature for smoking, direct cooking or indirect cooking being phenomenal. I smoked/cooked whole chickens at 120c and they were juicy even after 3 hours of cooking.
Very much worth the money as all the accessories you need to do it all are included in the box with this model.”
“Love it. Had to wait a while for it to be in stock but so glad I did. Have used it every other day so far, for direct and indirect cooking and with the rotisserie. Love it.”
“BBQ was damaged badly - probably in the factory. Contacted Dawson’s, awaiting response. The correspondence from Dawson’s up to that point was excellent. Happy to write another review at a later date.”
“First of all let's be clear that I have complaints with regards to BBQ World, the order was placed and an estimated delivery date advised with a further update when a specific date was known. Delivery was then made via DPD and as such an hourly time-slot given.
However, the much applauded Weber brand has left me somewhat deflated from the moment after opening the box when unpacking the items to a table, I got several metal splints from the terribly finished edge/rim of the lid.
I mention the table as I was being assisted by my 9 year old who (due to Lego training) is very methodical and ensures that all small parts are decanted to appropriate containers.
With component parts moved from box to table and containers he, I, and the far-better-half checked and rechecked packaging (Weber seal small items into the corners of the plastic bags) but much to our annoyance a screw for the main handle and a nut for the lid handle were, and still are, missing.
It seems that Weber have more interest in ensuring that their wares are adorned with the brand badge than they are with the quality of their actual unit.
£400 or so may not seem a lot to real enthusiasts but I certainly feel that it should be sufficient to gain some degree of quality and care.”
