“This review is a comparison between Txakoli Zudugarai and the Txakoli Gozatu, the remainder of a case I bought in 2016 and finished two days before I ordered the Zudugarai. The chilled Zudugarai was light and crisp but lacked the underlying smoothness of the Gozatu. Given the same Hondarribi grapes I believe either the Terroir made difference or allowing the Gozatu to mature for 5 years, smoothed its taste over the palate. In summary, Zudugarai is very drinkable which has gone well with sausage casserole, Cotriade fish stew and roast chicken. I intend to order a crate of 6, setting one aside to see if I can match the Gozatu in 5 years time.”
