Mascaro Vermouth Siset, Red, 750ml, Spanish Red Vermouth Reviews

4.9 Rating 48 Reviews
Read Basco Fine Foods Reviews

Vermouth Siset is a red vermouth made from Parellada wine from the estate 'Mas Miquel', a former property of the Cistercian Monastery of Santes Creus. This vermouth is inspired by the Mediterranean forest surrounding the property. The wine spirit used in its production is from the initial soleras of the founder, Antonio Mascaro, known as Siset, which gives structure and body to this product. With an intense and bright mahogany colour and orange reflections, it has an unmistakable aroma with notes of aromatic herbs and spices. The taste is sweet and balanced, with an elegant bitter end. It is excellent as an appetiser and pairs well with all kinds of tapas. Serve with ice and garnish with an olive.

Supping this fabulous Vermut served neat over ice with an olive and a shave of orange rind you can imagine you are in a bar in Madrid. And top marks also to Basco for such quick delivery.
