Our Galician Whole Beef Fillet is sourced from the highest quality beef in Galicia, Northwest Spain. We only use retired dairy cows between 8 and 12 years old, which are chubbier and have a higher percentage fat content, giving the fillet a distinct and unique flavour. The beef is dry-aged for a minimum of 7 days, allowing for natural grass-fed marbling. This lean, mean, and tender cut is prized for its quality and can be enjoyed as steaks or a roast.

“I have purchased this Beef Fillet numerous times and it has never failed to please it is probably this best filet I have tasted by far, and exceptional value for money. Would certainly recommend it. My husband who started his working career as a butcher is more than pleased with the meat and the fact that it can be cut as thick and as juicy as you wish it cooks in the twinkling of an eye we like it rare will continue to buy it.”

“Is it just me or do we all tend not to think of Spanish food as on a par with Italian or French. In truth, it is often better as Basco goods show and not just their Galician beef in particular. However, if you need to be convinced then their Galician beef fillet must succeed while there are taste buds in your head.”

“Fourth time that I've ordered this. Great value and super versatile. You can get lots of filet mignon out of this, or a couple of really luxurious roasts, or Chateau Briand - list is endless. Quality is good too - extra fat from older cows helps with flavour.”
