At Basco, we source the finest Galician beef from the Northwest of Spain. Our Galician beef range comes from retired Frisona dairy cows between 6 and 8 years old, allowing for natural grass-fed marbling. These older cows have a higher percentage fat content and more marbling, resulting in a unique and distinct flavor. Each Galician rib steak is dry-aged for a minimum of 35 days. Most delicious steak around. Quickly cooked on the BBQ with a delicious Romesco picada sauce on the side, best dinner ever!

Basco and this particular steak came recommended to me by a friend. It really is THE most tastiest steak EVER. Juicy, tender. Perfect. The kind you have in Michelin starred restaurants. It comes perfectly packaged in a polystyrene container that keeps it frozen.

Top notch. Galician beef is rightly famous and the rib steak we had is no exception. I'll certainly be ordering it again. Full of flavour, marbled with fat -- a real treat. Follow the cooking instructions on this site and you won't go wrong.
