Iberico Baby Back Pork Ribs, Acorn and Herb Flavored, 1Kg, High in Mono-unsaturated Fats, Healthy Pork Reviews

4.8 Rating 333 Reviews
Read Basco Fine Foods Reviews

Iberico Baby Back Ribs are cut straight from the Iberico pork loin. They are succulent and tasty, with a high quality that's maintained throughout. These ribs are smaller in size than those from a standard white pig, but the flavour of Iberico ribs is far superior. The indigenous black Iberico pigs roam the Dehesa forests of southwest Spain, where they feed on herbs, grass, and acorns. This unique diet contributes to the wonderful flavour of these Baby Back pork ribs, as well as the marbling that makes Iberico pork ribs special. The acorn and herb flavoured pork is high in mono-unsaturated fats that melt at low temperatures, making it a healthier option than standard pork. Iberico Baby Back ribs have a higher fat content than standard white pork ribs, but their flavour is more complex due to the pigs' diet of grass, herbs, and acorns. They are easy to cook and offer a delicious, authentic taste of Iberico pork.

They are delicious and succulent even if you roasted them with simple salt and pepper.

Absolutely stunning. Slow cook 120 for a couple of hours on low then turn the heat up 220 and baste 2 or 3 times with BBQ sauce for last half hour. Delicious

Just superb, probably the best ribs I've had apart from some very expensive ones in Japan! Cook slowly in the oven over some onions, garlic and herbs, the flavour is so good it doesn't need much help. I did 4 hours at 120C. Yum.
