Lovely chunks of prime cod that raises the enjoyment of dishes that require a small addition of salt cod - fantastic in fritters! :)

Again excellent quality. and value, well packaged and delivered promptly with advance notice of the deliver time by the courier. The salt fish trimming are large and produced as offcuts from the salt cod fillets. Hardly any bones or waste these salt cod trimmings are very easy to prepare. They also store well in the fridge and because they consist of small pieces of salt cod it is easy to economically use just the amount required. Although cold soaking may take the time indicated we use hot soaking for our recipes which reduces the preparation time considerably. We are on our third order and will certainly be ordering again.

These are excellent value for the specific purpose - the first 250 gms went to a tortilla de bacalao, and the remaining 250gm will help stuff the pimientos de piquillo this weekend. The cod, being trimmings is not too dry and therefore you can probably get away with soaking overnight and being able to cook for lunchtime the next day, so that there is still a bit of bite to the taste. 24hrs might not be necessary. A lovely taste of Navarra.

Good value. No bones or skin. More refined than the salt fish I've been buying. Needs less soaking time than I gave it but it made lovely light fritters. I'll be back for more.
