Freshly caught from the Cantabrico Sea, these boquerones are filleted by hand and marinated in extra virgin olive oil and white wine vinegar. The vinegar pickles them, sealing in their fresh taste while the olive oil introduces a smooth, silky flavor. Boquerones are not salty and have a much milder taste than traditional anchovies. Serve them on crusty bread with piquillo peppers or alone with chopped garlic and parsley. They are also great in salads or skewered with a pickled guindilla and an olive as a tasty tapa. These boquerones are flash frozen soon after they are caught and then thawed and prepared, ensuring they arrive to you with pristine condition.

Well packaged, nice sized fish but would prefer less vinegar. Good value but we have been having a round plastic tub of 850g for around £20 via amazon. They've recently been out of stock so we've come to you!!

Beautiful anchovies. Great taste. Slightly salty and hint of vinegar. Great on ciabatta with tomatoes.
