“I just received my DT 5 19 yard line today. It arrived inside 24 hours. I tried it out on my 8'0" Sunray California fast glass rod which wasn't liking a WF 4 plastic line. This line casts like a rocket yet is still very delicate. In over 50 years of fly fishing I have never had such a great line. I will undoubtedly be back for more. Many thanks to Ian Moxon and to Barbless Flies. Excellent. I can't wait to try this line on my go to Sharpes 85 split cane rod.”

“Firstly it was an Ian Moxon silk fly line dt 4/5 in dark red. I used it briefly today and so far I am very happy with it. I need to give it a more substantial try but so far it seems to be of a very high standard . The service from Barbless flies was excellent and would highly recommend them.”

“A beautiful made line, have used it once already and will be using it each week so it beds in, using a silk line with my 10' #7 split cane rod is something special, harder work than modern line and rod but something special.”

“Already had a DT4, this new line was a DT5 line not a 12 as indicated in the review title. Was very happy with the first line so had to have a 5#. Only niggle I have with the new one is the braided loop connector is a little too fine and at one end the silk line poked through the braid. I've managed to put it back inside and superglued over. All in all though, these are great lines at a great price. Would buy again.”

“My first experience of a truly silk fly line. So far very impressed with the way it casts and presents a dry fly. Because it is so light on the water it is easy to mend the line without moving the fly. Obviously there is quite a lot of line maintenance involved but time will tell if this is worth the extra expense and effort”
