“This is craftsmanship brought to practical use. Lovely line and I had forgotten the joy of using a silk line with a cane rod. Elevates fly fishing to an art to be aspired to - ie challenging me to be better. I also enjoy the ritual of maintaining a silk line.”

“I haven't received my fly line yet. It's only been a couple of days since ordering but the experience I had with Richard was outstanding!! Very prompt in answering my questions and super speedy shipping. I certainly appreciate good customer service and that will make me a repeat customer. “In June 2021, I bought an Ian Moxon DT Green Bi-colour silk fly line which in my opinion is an excellent line and I am very happy with it. Ian's lines are well designed and crafted; are made from sustainable materials; with care should last a long time. I enjoy the ritual of looking after the line - it is strangely satisfying. I needed a heavier weight line for another rod and my choice was so easy - Ian Moxon DT 6.5 Black silk line. The line looks great and I look forward to casting it over the coming seasons. Thank you.”

“As Ian says the line takes time to bed in and I guess I will have to experience a step back in my ability to cast well. But even after a 6 hrs fishing trip I could feel the line be more forgiving. I’m ridiculously exciting at the prospect of using this line and working with equipment that you have to engage with to nurture the best from. Particularly pleased that the Silk line can be adapted to a floating, intermediary or sinking tip line meaning that potential I will not have to buy another line ( haha) so not much practical feedback but looking forward to the potential and pleasure of a home spun (!) Silk line.”
