“I bought the kd8000 scales as I was finding my old scales becoming unreliable as it either would start to fluctuate as you finished weighing causing uncertainty & also while weighing it would shut off ...very frustrating! Not so with this unit ( I bought the adapter as well ) . This is an excellent product sturdy & extremely accurate ( make sure as said else where you have it placed on an even work surface -) The plastic cover lid while operating just needs to be opened far enough without touching the underside of the scale as this can interfere with the measurements. The only disappointment or mistake on my part was to not have noticed why it doesn’t measure Mmls ?
