It was packed with liquorice root bags, which meant the packaging smelt amazing! Great flour, swift delivery - thank you

Ive just started to use this flour, (which was delivered in a really robust bag), so a bit early to give a comprehensive review.

I bought this as an experiment for making bread. It was very successful producing lovely soft loaves even when mixed with wholemeal flour - which can be a bit heavy sometimes. I would highly recommend it!

This excellent flour was part of my initial order from Bakery Bits and the first recipe I used it for was to make a milk loaf. The rise was very good and the resulting loaf had a good texture. The bread sliced well, I prefer to use a very sharp, thin-bladed carving knife to a bread saw when cutting slices, so as not to waste bread in the form of crumbs, and they made excellent toast. The final seal of approval came from my wife who commented that it was the nicest toast she had tasted for long time.
