I found this product during an internet search for bread making yeast when the usual small tins had totally disappeared from supermarkets early in the lockdown. It performs just as well as my normal brand, so I didn’t have to stop making my own bread. I fill a small container for regular use and tightly wrap and seal the foil package and keep it in the fridge. I can’t comment on how long it will last but so far it remains fresh and effective.

This dried yeast is perfect for my home bread making. I was worried I might not be able to keep such a relatively large amount dry. This was no problem. An airtight container was all I needed and I keep it on top of the ten kilogram bag of bread flour in a bin I bought for that purpose. I won’t go back to buying either flour or yeast in the supermarket.
