An excellent guide to producing artisan bread. The included DVD is particularly helpful in demonstrating Richard's unique dough mixing method, as well as a couple of recipes.

I have been making sourdough bread for the past year and have experimented with two different starters. The bread still was not up to my expectations. However, still undeterred I was intrigued to try again using Richard Bertinet's recipe and having watched the excellent dvd showing his method of kneading and folding which is free with his book 'Crust'. I found making the starter incredibly easier than the previous earlier attempts and the bread results I am achieving now after only a few weeks, is improving each time. The bread has a great taste and the crust is fantastic. I would unreservedly recommend 'Crust' and the dvd to all enthusiastic sourdough bread makers!
