I asked for saf gold osmotolerant yeast and a saf 'ordinary' yeast was sent. No problem I shall use it for bread as I am not planning to bake sweet breads at present but care needs to be taken as the packages are similar I think.

this yeast really works on high sugar dough , my panettone came up just like a shop one. i have yet to try it on normal bread but as this pack for five pounds seems a lot it says it will make 250Kg of bread, what a bargain, I am very impressed , after all the bad bakes now i will use the best possible butter i can buy , thats all it needs to be as good as it gets ,

A lovely yeast which was perfect for my first attempt at making a Kulich for a Russian evening later this week, also used the Limone Sicilia from Bakery Bits for flavouring. My kitchen smells wonderful.
