Cooked lots of sourdough using an old cast iron pan, tried everything to get rid of really hard crust which is hard to cut but with the cloche the bread came out soft and light, I cooked it for 15 mins without the lid for a light crust and a perfect sourdough rye loaf. Will be using this lots. Just got to find somewhere to keep it! Well worth the money.

I only recently discovered la cloche and the baker's bits team has been great in answering all my questions and giving advice on how to use it. Delivery was super fast (in time for weekend baking :) and the online support after the purchase was stellar. I love my La Cloche!!! \o/

Bought as a house warming gift for daughter and son-in-law. She bakes - he eats sourdough bread so we are certain this will make it even better.
