“Am not certain whether this is an essential piece of baking equipment, having previously obtained similar results from the simple use of a pan of water in the bottom of the oven when making sourdough loaves. It is well-made and does give that 'spring' to the bread. One must exercise great caution when using, especially in a smallish oven. Recommend removing the dome cover after 15-20 minutes of the baking time.”
“Makes excellent bread! The cloche really improved your bread by allowing it to rise to it's full potential before the crust forms and keeps it more moist as it traps the stream.”

“Purchased during lockdown and has been in use weekly. Cooks the bread to a lovely softness but crunchy crumb and no more burnt bottoms. Delivery was super quick and packaged in lovely smelling card - cinnamon? Anyway I loved the smell. I also bought a selection of flours - rye, organic brown n white again all excellent. I continue to stalk the site for more baking items I “need”.”
