Have used this on and off for a few months, maybe 10 uses total? On my last use the base cracked in half in the oven and is now unusable. Such a waste of money, bought this to upgrade from using a pyrex dish but should have saved the money.

Wouldn't be without it now. Great spring and wonderful crusts. Had it for a while now, love that well used look that comes quite quickly. Better than the casserole that I had been using and allows me to bake a 750g loaf. Just need to perfect my dough scoring now......

at last I have finally managed to make a decent soughdough loaf thanks to this great bit of kit I would recommend this to all home bakers to get their artisan baking on the road to success, well done b/bits.

I love this cloche. Bread seems to rise better in it than when baking open and I usually get a beautiful burst and a terrific crust. A sprinkle of fine semolina on the base before putting in the dough means the bread never sticks and is easily removed after baking. My only worry is that I’ll crack it or drop it - it is ceramic not metal after all!
