“I followed the directions as supplied and the cloche does produce an evenly baked and coloured loaf with a good rise and good crust. I made the same loaf, at the same time in my steam injected Miele oven and there was no detectable difference between the two loaves. However if it had been my previous Neff oven the cloche would have won hands down!”

The dome was easy to clean (slightly less easy to store, inevitably, as it's quite bulky) but we'd like to try putting the dough onto the cold tray as recommended by the manufacturers. (We also bought some fresh yeast, a great bonus since we find it very difficult to buy it fresh.)”
