Bought as an early Christmas present for my husband who makes all our bread. Results in a lovely crust and good texture when making white bread. I'm looking forward to him trying some of the recipes that came with the cloche. Good quality, perfect size and easy to use.

It gives the bread a lovely crusty top. I tried first to bake bread in a terracota tagine, while I waited for the delivery of the dome. The top also came with a good crusty top, but the bottom was a bit soft and soggy. I thought that was due to the tagine having a glazed bottom tray, but with the dome the results are similar. However this is something that can easily be overcome, by turning the bread upside down, after it develops a crust on the top, and then bake for a further 15 minutes.
