I made bread. For the first time EVER yesterday. Following Paul Hollywood's program. It turned out very nice and I felt very proud of myself. I bought 8 kg of various flours so it will last a while but I will definitely be buying again...

I confess that my first loaf was not a success but that was clearly my fault so I waited until I had tried again before writing a review. Second time round was lovely but don't be too enthusiastic with your hydration level and have your starter frothing and snorting before you start. I found it sticky and difficult but very rewarding and since I am a rank amateur I reckon a better baker than I could make something very tasty indeed.
