“I’ve not used it yet but I was very disappointed by the short use by date.
I only use a smallish quantity of wholemeal in my bread so I will probably have to throw most of it away.”
“I've baked one loaf so far - the texture (of the loaf) was unexpectedly tight although the flavour is v good.
The flour surprised me by being more finely milled than I expected and it seems my (machine) recipe will need tweaking a little: a little more water and/or yeast, perhaps? (Ideas welcomed!)
Question: the miller calls it "Wheatmeal" rather than "Wholemeal" - is this significant? For instance, does it relate to the texture of the flour?”

“An unexpected bonus from the lockdowns has been buying flour online, giving me greater choice and finding smaller millers whose flours are much nicer than those favoured by the supermarkets.
I bought Redbournbury Organic and was impressed by the loaves I made. I have arthritis so cannot make bread by hand any more so rely on my breadmaker. The resulting loaves were really tasty. I will definitely buy this flour again.”
