A favourite for flavour and quality. I use it in combination with other flours for sourdough loaves. But it's good in yeasted bread as well.

This is a very flavourful, almost wholegrain, flour which rises well when used in breadmaking. Because some of the bran is removed to allow malted grain to be added it doesn't need the addition of white flour, as with 100% wholemeal.

Straightfoward process made a nice loaf, and like the other Redbournbury flours an excellent flavour. The nicest malted blend I have tried so far, this one has good nutty maltiness and is not overpoweringly sweet nor sticky to handle.

The flour was a good quality and produced great results. The texture produced a good crumb, and lovely loaf. Gave a great malty flavour which I have been looking for fir a while
