“If you make crisp bread at home using an ordinary oven (and you really should because it is FABULOUS), this makes the task so much easier and quicker. A standard rolling pin can only get the dough down to the thickness of the largest seed (pumpkin seeds in my case) but that is too thick for even baking. The projections in this rolling pin get between the seeds and reduce the dough to a smaller thickness that allows evenly browned crispbread to be made in an ordinary oven.”

“This was a treat to myself. I make crispbreads a lot. You still have to roll the crispbreads first using a 'flat' rolling pin but the kruskavel gives them a nice finish and means you don't have to use a fork on them. It did just what I wanted and I'm very pleased with it.”
