“We love a genuine French baguette and we have not come across any flour that gives that taste and crumb and crispy crunchy crust, however since buying the 5kilo bag we have made 4 batches of baguettes, they are of course best as soon after they cool but we have frozen them as a trial, we put them in the freezer as soon as they cool. Get then out of the oven an hour or so before putting them in a previous heated over for a couple of minutes, it brings them back fine.
I know things are a little crazy with so many people buying things in volume at the moment but it’s so good I have managed to order some more xx”
“Like many people recently I have been unable to buy bread flour easily.
Bakery Bits had this flour available, intended for baguettes and in a 25Kg bag, but I went ahead and purchased. These guys must be working flat out but I appreciated a realistic delivery time (8 days) and it arrived on schedule.
So far we are two loaves in and it works well in our panasonic - good even rise and a taste that is beyond our normal supermarket flour.
Sack is clipped closed and should last the time it takes to bake 50 loaves.
