“I'm giving a middling review because on my first attempt I failed miserably to slash my sourdough loaf. Because of the curve of the blade It's not obvious how to use the lame. I was hoping it would fearlessly cut deep into the dough but it just wanted to drag the dough around. I suspect that it has to be used counter-intuitively and I'll see if I can find a YouTube demo before I try using it again.”
