“After several months trying it out, I find it very useful for mixing dry ingredients, but prefer to use a dough scraper, electric mixer or my hands once the liquid is added. No complaints; it remains a useful and regularly used purchase.”
“I bought the largest Netherton Foundry frying pan a little while ago and love it. Although it is a little hard to season properly as it doesn't fit in my oven! Needing new loaf tins for bread-making I decided to get some more Netherton Foundry kit and was only able to find them on Bakery Bits. I'm very pleased with my purchases, the bread comes out easily and they look and feel great. They will last forever and when they get a bit tatty can be easily refurbished and reseasoned about home for a brand new look. Unlike others pan with a non-stick coating.”
“Beautifully made, solid construction and excellent price.
I bought both sizes together, the larger and smaller versions. Each have their essential uses.
Very happy with this purchase. So thank you Bakery Bits.
Highly recommended!”
“Excellent loaf pans, this is a repeat purchase from me, I've got four of these pans now and have given my old steel ones away.Brilliant, need a bit of talc but they repay in spades.”
“It certainly makes easy work of heavy dough but my impression is that it really ensures that the water is very well absorbed / pushed through the dough. Very useful kit.”
“Bakery bits offers good quality products but my delivery was slow, from ordering to arrival.
I also think the website could be better categorised and therefore more user friendly.”
