“I took delivery of this knife about 4 weeks ago and I have to say, in contrast the other reviews here, I am a bit disappointed. It was due to replace a Victorinox breaad knife that has done 3 years good service but is beginning to struggle with strong crusts. Sad to say, the brand new Opinel does no better. In addition, the curved blade makes it harder to cut a straight slice for sandwiches, etc. It's not a terrible knife but I expected better from a premium brand and from the folks at Bakery Bits.”
