Small size just right. It does come out a funny shape at first but sorts itself out in the oven. Thank you.

I used these mini shaping baskets for the first time last week - I live on my own and thought they would be good so I could make 2 small loaves and freeze one rather than overfacing myself with large loaves. I thought the sourdough might stick first time but they worked perfectly dusted with rye flour and I am delighted with them

Baskets came packaged in pungently smelling cardboard (BB said they recycle herb packages - why do this when packaging materials which absorb odour and which will be used to contain - and hence contaminate - food?). I raised the issue immediatel with BB, who simply expressed surprise at this being their first such complaint (which surprised me!). Despite leaving the baskets outdoors for 24 hours, the odour persisted so I contacted BB again and asked for a replacement. They acted promptly and sent these by courier, who also collected the tainted baskets. I'm happy with the baskets and appreciate the swift replacement. However, the response given on both occasions to my complaint that "I am very surprised to hear this, we have been recycling these herb sacks for over a year now and this is the first case of this" bears no relevance to this particular case (other than to intimate a lack of trust in what I was telling them). A simple apology would have been much more appreciated. For this reason, I can only give 3* overall.
