“I was using a Pyrex bowl to prove my sourdough before baking and was finding that it was sticking terribly to the ale Creuset I was using for baking. It was really difficult to get the loaf out once it was cooked. With the banneton, the outside of the dough is a lot less sticky. I also bought some rye flour as advised to help with avoiding sticking. Now the dough tips easily out of the banneton into the Le Creuset to be baked and there is no sticking; the loaf just tips out effortlessly.”
