“I really love this little scraper. It's a bit on the small size so maybe not ideal for bigger breads but for my usual 500g loaves it's just the right tool for shaping the wet dough. It's light and easy to handle, strong enough to be used to move the dough around but soft enough not to hurt sensitive work surfaces. I would recommend though to buy in addition a flexible bean shaped scraper as well for bowl cleaning and such as this one is too rigid for that type of job. The two together work like a marvel and they are not expensive.”
“I had two of the old red plastic dough cutters; one I gave a friend, the other I mislaid. So I bought two of the new ones which are stiffer - great for cutting, not as good for bowl or worktop scraping. Now the old one has reappeared and I'm happy. So, if you just want to cut dough buy the new one. If a general purpose flexible cutter/scraper is what appeals then you may be disappointed with recent red plastic progress.”
