It cuts dough, I use it to start rubbing fat into flour and for scraping cake mixture from bowls - the curved shape fits most bowls and gets every bit off. An essential piece of baking kit I think.”

“I really love this little scraper. It's a bit on the small size so maybe not ideal for bigger breads but for my usual 500g loaves it's just the right tool for shaping the wet dough. It's light and easy to handle, strong enough to be used to move the dough around but soft enough not to hurt sensitive work surfaces. I would recommend though to buy in addition a flexible bean shaped scraper as well for bowl cleaning and such as this one is too rigid for that type of job. The two together work like a marvel and they are not expensive.”
