This is a very substantial piece of granite and does a great job with my loaves, giving them a good oven rise. It is quite heavy though but I think by being so thick and heavy it should last a long time as long as I don't drop it!

The stone is heavy but fits perfectly into oven. It has greatly improved my pizzas making the base lighter and added a stone baked taste. I am very glad I purchased this. The order I placed was processed promptly and the baking stone arrived within a few days and was well packaged with clear instructions.

Arrived quickly and well package. Does exactly what it@s suppose to and my bread has improved as a result. I would recommend this to anyone seeking to bake better bread.

My oven is fairly basic, and anything I cooked in a loaf-tin would burn on top before the base would cook. Now, with this stone my loaves are superb! Other bakes - such as ciabatta and even pizzas turn out perfect every time! You must buy a paddle as well though!
