I ordered a granite baking stone from Bakery Bits and was unlucky that not only the first but also the replacement stone were broken in transit. However, each time a replacement stone was sent out very quickly and I was really pleased with the first sourdough loaf I baked on it. The crumb was much improved and I'm looking forward to more experiments

I recently bought a baking stone but unfortunately it had been damaged in transit and arrived broken. I contacted Bakery Bits and a replacement was sent out the same day without any questions. I'm looking forward to trying it out

Early days for me and bread making (two loaves so far with some rolls proving) but pleased with the baking stone so far. Well made, looks good and seems to do what it it is supposed to. First class service from Bakery Bits too.

does exactly what it says. Arrived quickly, well packaged and even looks good on the kitchen counter when not in use. Glad I found this website!

I have only used the stone once for Richard Bertinet's Bretton Bread. It produced a very nice crust, if only the bread was as nice it was absolutely tasteless in my opinion even with the Bretton salt. My only slight gripe is a. The size it could be a tad bigger b.The weight is rather heavy but I knew that when I purchased it. I really wanted the rectangle pizza stone, I have one which I purchased from BB but even been extremely careful with it I found it broken in half last week in the oven? The pizza stones are currently out of stock which is a shame. So all I can say for now is that I need to bake more bread on the stone before I can say whether or not it is as good as my broken pizza stone!!

Great baking stone. Fits perfectly in my small oven. Very heavy. I was planning to store it in the oven permanently but find it interferes with cooking times for things other than breads so changed my mind. Overall, highly recommended.
