“The item was not brushed properly so all the hair was coming off from the edges. Asked for a refund but my postage was deducted even though it wasn’t my fault that the product was not right. They said the product was not faulty to that’s what the postage was deducted but it was not in useable condition anyway..I do NOT recommend it!”
We are so sorry you are unhappy with your experience at Baa Baby this is not something we would want at all. The lambskins are natural products and do not 'shed' hair but there can be some loose fibres after the lambskins have been cut if they are not brushed from all angles. I can see that we emailed you on 27th August with the offer of a free sheepskin brush if you were worried or a retun/exchange. We didn't recieve a reply to our email and we are sorry we were unable to help you on this occasion.
“the only part that is visible( the head end) has nice soft wool but the rest of the 'hidden'' parts of the product have very rough patches all stitched up and its neither aesthetic nor good quality. very disappointed with the quality of the product. They are clearly trying to use cheap stuff to charge more.”
We are very sorry you are unhappy with your purchase from Baa Baby. We can see from our records that your email query to us came in after this review and we did respond to you immediately. The footmuff you purchased is from Kaiser a premium German brand. We directed you to the manufacturers site with the product listed at a much higher price than Baa Baby so that hopefully you can see that we are not selling poor quality items at inflated prices. The footmuffs are cut from whole sheepskin however stitching is necessary around the openings and this can flatten the fleece a little. As sheepskin is a natural product all of the linings in the footmuffs are also slightly different but are cut from a whole skin. We have offered a free return and full refund as the last thing we want is an unhappy customer. We understand that you now wish to exchange the product and are just awaiting your return before we do this.
