“I like the BaaBaby products but will not be able to buy anything further while they use Evri (formerly Hermes) as their delivery company. Evri are consistently awful, and on this occasion - lost the parcel for several days (I paid for a guaranteed next day) which meant it was not available to take as a gift when required. It turned up 10 days later. I had to buy another product off John Lewis - who thank goodness, are completely reliable. BaaBaby of not particular help when I raised the issue with them apart from refunding £1 of delivery charge. Not good enough I'm afraid.”
I am so sorry that you have not had a good experience with delivery. We can't guarantee next day delivery with any shipping company and wouldn't ever market services as guaranteed. Our delivery charge for the item you purchased was £3.95 for standard delivery and £4.95 for express delivery - this is why you were refunded the difference in charge when the parcel didn't arrive in the expected time. We did raise your query through to Evri to track and trace the item and it was delivered though it took 5 working days to deliver which is not the express service we had booked and paid for.
I can completely understand your frustration - as you are no doubt aware there is huge pressures on all courier services at the moment and a small number of parcels will always fail the system in terms of getting through at the desired time. We completely take on board your concerns about Evri - we use a range of different couriers for our deliveries however have now taken the decision to only send items with Royal Mail and DPD going forward. We are just in the process of changing the information on our website to avoid any future customer upset due to deliveries with Evri. Once more we are genuinely sorry that we have not met our high customer service standards.
