“Very sturdy quality item and nice that's modular for future upgrades. Was hoping my vintage receiver would fit on it but it doesn't. Had to buy a different one. Consider where the supports are, not over-all width when placing vintage equipment on it.”
“Initially I was very happy to place the order only days before Christmas and have it arrive right on Christmas eve, but what I received merits the balance of this review. Right out of the box, a few of the vertical tubes showed signs of rust and discolored finishes on most of the tubes. In fact, I had more of the finish on my hands than on the tubes by the time I assembled the rack. This was the same experience I had with the Pangea speaker stands received as part of the same order. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement, but here is my concern with Pangea. All of these tubes are cosmetic defects, easily spotted by any QC inspection. The fact that these were not identified and flagged raises my doubt on any Pangea product. What is their quality like especially on the components where you can't see the craftsmanship? Are the Ethernet cables properly terminated? Are the insides of their electrical outlets rusted, and is their any QC on any of their components at all?
Audio Advisor's Customer Service suggested I itemize all of the tubes that need to be replaced on both this rack and the Pangea speaker stands so they can send me replacements. Really? Gee thanks for the offer. Perhaps if they sent a replacement unit it too would have similar issues and the issue would not be resolved.
In conclusion, pure junk from a company with no outgoing QC. Going to buy some spray paint and hope for the best....”
Thank you for your review. Sorry you had a bad experience with the product. This supplier has shown excellent quality control and we've had very few defective products.
Normally in a situation like this when someone contacts us we offer to replace the product with a new one.
