“I purchased a pair of these stands to put a pair of Wilson Tune Tots on for surround duty. They are very sturdy, well built...and they look great!! They can also be filled with sand etc. but because I am just using them with surround speakers I haven't done that...yet!!”
“These stands are solid and well built. The hardware is of good quality and the assembly was very easy. I used pea gravel as ballast and the result is a very inert stand. I used Bostik Blu Tack to secure my speakers to the top plate.
I only had one minor issue in that one column on each stand had a small imperfection (bubbling) in the black coating. I didn't notice these until the stands were filled, otherwise I would have merely turned the individual column so that the blemish was facing inward and no longer visible. So I just rotated the stands 180 degrees so the blemishes were facing the wall. Truth be told, when I stand back a few feet the blemishes are hard to see because of the flat, textured coating, but I was a little disappointed nonetheless.
Despite the minor nit, I like these stands for both their looks and performance.”
We do not supply pads with these very heavy speaker stands and do not recommend them. Over time, the pads will compress and need to be replaced.
We strongly recommend the use of the speaker spikes resting on discs like the Sonic Saucers for best performance with any speaker.
“The stands are great and had no problem in assembling them. they
are very welll built and high quality materials. I filled the columns with
dry sand that is used for childrens san boxs and it increased its stability
and buffered the hollow columns. very satisfied with the Stands. thank you”
“Product would not assemble per instructions. Returned product AND HAD TO PAY over $60 for a defective product. Trying to get a refund - still waiting ..”
