Recommend information on the foot pegs with points. I have wood floors and was concerned the spikes would cause damage. I did my own research and removed the spikes.

“I filled the columns with sand. I think I hear an improvement in sound stage solidity. I also attached the speakers to the stand with "Blu Tac'' adhesive. I am very happy with the improvement in Sound Quality.”
“These things are not lovely, but they are very solid indeed; it certainly doesn't seem to me worthwhile to fill them with shot or sand. I contemplated painting them white, but decided that would make them more, rather than less, apparent. In short, they do what they're designed to do and stand at just the right height for my speakers.”
